Thursday morning jimson weed

I probably won't grow this plant again next year. Better get the most out of it now.

It was especially lovely this morning before I went off to work.

I've always liked datura but haven't found a place for it in any of my gardens yet. Yours is quite lovely though.

It's a hard plant to use. It has a life of its own, but it responds well to pruning. Still does its own thing, but it adapts well.

I wondered why you wouldn't want to grow that again, until I realized that with the length of your growing season, it likely gets pretty dang large. Funny, mine are only about 10" tall, and flowering just the same.

Did I send you this link already?

You did, yes--sorry I didn't respond to that. I enjoyed reading it, but I'm skeptical too.

Did you put a lightbulb behind that datura flower? It's glowing!

I know--it's totally glowing! Amazing.
