A long walk Part I was all red x's. I have to refresh or come back when that happens. I think I am getting a contact high from you.
It's a lovely day in the neighborhood.
I'm inspired by your post and the much cooler S.F. weather to cross the bridge and take a long walk in some of my favorite S.F. neighborhoods.
But the thought of trying to conquer the Golden Gate Bridge this weekend is daunting due to the "other" bridge being closed for the entire weekend.
So I guess I will take a walk in my own little neighborhood and might even bring my camera and a sturdy sun hat and bandana packed with ice chips.
Or maybe I'll wander out to one of the northern beaches instead and try to find some cool air form me and the dog.
It was in the very high 90's today in northern Marin. Too hot for me and the pooch to do much of anything in the garden except to hang loads of laundy out on the zip line and dead head a few succulents.
It was a sleepy / nappy kinda day.

Now you're just freaking me out with the DCD. I actually saw them play in Montreal probably... 15 years ago, one night after I saw the Cocteau Twins. That was a memorable weekend.
I think that was 1990. They played San Francisco at almost the same time that year.
Actually, the Cocteau Twins played at the Zellerbach in Berkeley, and DCD played the Palace of Fine Arts in San Francisco.
"Song of the stars" from Spiritchaser? We saw them in Boston 2 years ago when they reunited and toured - show was phenomenal and the live CD from the show is gorgeously produced! "the wind that shakes the barley" is the one that goes right to my core! her version is the best i've ever heard - and she did it live - fabu!!!!
