Fall in the garden of my guru

Emma's been wondering where the pictures I took in her garden are! I took these before we went to Yerba Buena.

Terrific, xeric garden your friend has! No wonder she's your guru!

Ooooh... lovely. She has a real way with those grasses, and planting under trees in general!

Is that red/orange flowering plant in the middle of the last picture the "etteri" form of zauschneria? I hope you say yes, because I really want mine to look like that next year. :)

It looks great, whether I can recognize the plants or not. We have some kind of Baccharus in Central Texas and also grow Salvia leucantha, but is that a citrus tree in photo three? The seed heads look dramatic in photo 9, and the grass gate is wonderful.

Hope you're okay, Chuck.

Kangaroo paw? I have only seen that at the florist! A bit of kangaroo envy here! Great shots of all plants I admire but cannot grow! Thanks for sharing them.

I'm with Annie, Chuck...I hope all is well with you, xoxo~hug~! I'm concerned about the fires burning out there...not that close to you (I hope, I think), but I hope your family is not affected.
