What's not really coming through that I'm especially loving is the pink-flowering salvia microphylla the hummingbirds visit every day...to the kittens' delight.
That sedum turns red anytime it goes without water for a long time. But I do water that pot so the salvia will flower for the hummers.
Our Anna's Hummingbird, Calypte anna, is resident all year long. The Allen's Hummingbird, Selasphorus sasin, is still hanging around, tho' by late September, he should be back in school...

Sedum, echeveria, and Mexican feather grass -- I have that stuff too!
Any cute kitty pics?

It is a lovely pot. The sedum will get some more color when it gets cooler right?
I think our hummingbirds have flown south. I have not seen one in about four days.

Wow man, that pot makes me happy too....and the flowers look nice as well! ;-)
That pot made me happy, too.. and continues to do so, as my desktop background of the week. (I hope you don't mind.)
