On Day 43, they taped and plastered. Annoyingly, they started sometime after 3:30 p.m. when I left for my haircut, and worked until almost 8. Argh!
I like it so much more when they've cleaned up and cleared out by the time I get home at the end of the day, usually around 5. We can't complain tho'. At this point, we're just glad they're here.
He wore stilts to do the ceiling.
Pocket door:
This is a fan, and he asked us to leave it on...all night long.
So I'm taking an Ambien.

Both annoying AND exciting! I know that the "Extreme Makeover" show is a huge undertaking with an army of workers to get all that done in a week, but I'm more than a little surperised that your job is taking so long. Guess it just goes with the territory. (Plus I've never had anything like that done, so I sure wouldn't know exactly what is or is not reasonable.)
